Meet Sereina:
Sereina brings over 10 years of experience in gastronomy, including service, bar, and kitchen management. Her background includes organizing festivals focused on No Mind, Yoga, and Tantra.
With a degree in philosophy and religious studies, complemented by meditation training in a Zen monastery, she offers a deep understanding of holistic living. As a certified Kali-Tantra yoga instructor and with 5 years of permaculture experience, Sereina seamlessly integrates mindful practices, sustainable living, and community-centered service.
Meet Andrej:
Andrej holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Philosophy from the University of Zurich. He then completed his teaching diploma for the Gymnasium in mathematics and has experience in teaching mathematics at the Rudolf Steiner Gymnasium.
His passion for sustainable living led him to complete a permaculture design course, where he combines analytical skills with practical knowledge to create harmonious, future-oriented environments.
Meet Mathias:
Mathias, composer and former professor of composition and music theory at the Zurich University of the Arts, enriches our project with his experience in the fields of music and art. He is keen to organise innovative, exciting music and other art events at the Château de Dompierre that take up history on the one hand and reflect aspects of the present on the other.
His credo: to keep expanding his own horizon of experience in an open, reflective and experimental way, firmly rooted in the past and the present, in this wonderful place, together with unique people. What will be the fruits of this kind of permanent culture?
We offer a shuttle service to and from the train station in La Souterraine on request (10€ per person).
The nearest train station is in La Souterraine, with good connections from Paris. If you’re arriving by train, let us know in advance. We can pick you up at La Souterraine or you can take a taxi to Château de Dompierre.
There is a free parking space.
There is a charging station for electric cars in St.Sornin Leulac (approx. 5km away).
The large salon in the castle and the yurt in the forest are available for seminars. The bar can also be used depending on the seminar (e.g. for cooking courses). There is also plenty of space for activities in the outdoor space.
Material for use: music system, small jukebox, chairs, projector, cushions, 10 yoga mats, singing bowl, gong

For seminars we offer full board for 40 € per day. The meals are vegetarian and include products from the castle’s permaculture garden. We offer breakfast for vacation guests for 10 €.
You can stay with us on any budget, from 20 € in your own tent to 90 € per person in a suite in the castle for seminar guests. If you come as a vacation guest, the price ranges from 20 € in a tent to 180 € in a suite in the castle.
Sleeping places for up to 30 people are available.
Yes, there are hiking trails in the area, a hiking route of about 6 km starts right in front of the castle.
Yes, you can swim in the lake in the designated swimming zone with a dock. Swimming at your own risk.
Minimum stay is 2 nights/3 days.
The minimum number of participants is 10 and the maximum is 25.
It is a unique location, surrounded by nature and the lake. Here you will find a protected place where you can really immerse yourself with your course participants, enjoy first-class local food and support a sustainable project.
Yes, there are neighbors, but they are quite far away. The castle is surrounded by 44 hectares of land, which provides plenty of privacy.
