Sereina is the heart of the permaculture garden. With over seven years of experience as a gardener and cook, she combines in-depth expertise with a great passion for unusual vegetables and creative culinary experiences. She not only designs and tends the garden, but also organises culinary events, accompanies guests during their stay and ensures that they feel welcome and connected.

As the organiser and person responsible for social media, she keeps track of everything and communicates the vision of the place to the outside world. Her academic training as a philosopher and religious scholar shapes her thinking: Sereina is deeply concerned with the question of how we can live sustainably and take responsibility for the future – in everyday life, in the garden and in our interactions with one another.

Mathias, composer and former professor of composition and music theory at the Zurich University of the Arts, enriches our project with his experience in the fields of music and art. He is keen to organise innovative, exciting music and other art events at the Château de Dompierre that take up history on the one hand and reflect aspects of the present on the other.

His credo: to keep expanding his own horizon of experience in an open, reflective and experimental way, firmly rooted in the past and the present, in this wonderful place, together with unique people. What will be the fruits of this kind of permanent culture?
