GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
For seminar leaders and seminar participants
- Reservation of food and accommodation
After the seminar participants have first inquired with the course management about free course places and have definitely booked a place, they should register and book accommodation and lodging with the castle directly and as early as possible.
2. Reservation of food and accommodation
Upon arrival, we ask all participants to register in the castle office (second door on the right after entering the castle). Please note that you can only log in during certain times. If you would like to arrive at other times, please arrange this with the castle office in good time.
3. Arrival and departure times
As a rule, the rooms can be occupied from 4 p.m. On the day of departure, the rooms must be vacated by 10 a.m. Exceptions are possible, but must be agreed upon with the castle office in good time and confirmed in writing.
4. Benefits
Our seminars are a package deal. We require that all participants take part in the entire course and book board (full board) and lodging in the house.
Our services include:
- Overnight stay in the selected category
- Full board vegetarian
- Free use of the hotel’s own lake and park
As a rule, the seminars begin with dinner on the day of arrival and end with lunch. Exceptions can be made after consultation with the castle office.
Prices for individual meals: breakfast including drinks 10 euros, lunch 15 euros, dinner 15 euros.
Meals not taken at your own request will not be discounted or refunded.
5. Cancellation conditions for seminar guests
Cancellation up to 14 days before the start of the seminar costs 50 euros, after that 50% of the deposit until Cancellation 8 days before the start of the seminar and 100% of the deposit.
If you leave before the end of the seminar, there will be no refund. We recommend that participants take out cancellation insurance.
6. Number of participants / participant lists
So that we can prepare and organize everything necessary for our guests, we ask the seminar leader to send us a list of participants with their last name, first name, email address and telephone number no later than 14 days before the start of the seminar. In order to match the seminar guests registered with us with the participants registered in the course, we ask the seminar management to continually update the lists and forward them to the castle office [email protected]
The Chateau de Dompierre assumes a minimum number of 8 full-paying participants including the seminar leader. If this number is not reached, the entire deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee.
7. Payment and cancellation conditions for the seminar leader
When we mutually agree, you will receive an order confirmation and an invoice from us within 3-4 working days Deposit amount which you must pay to our account within 20 days of the invoice date. In addition, we need the original completed rental and service agreement (below) from you with information about your seminar and room requirements. Please send this to the attention of the seminar organization.

- for seminars lasting up to and including 3 days, Euro 500
- for seminars lasting 4 days or more: Euro 1000
Please state the name of the event, date and organizer when making the transfer!
Please include the transfer receipt with the contract documents!

The deposit will be offset against the seminar leader’s accommodation and meal fees and, if necessary, the difference will be refunded.
Cancellation
If the seminar has to be canceled, the amount paid will be charged as a cancellation fee.
The following cancellation conditions apply:
- Cancellations + 180 days before the start of the seminar: Euro 100.00 processing fees
- Cancellations 180 days – 120 days before the start of the seminar: 50% of the deposit
- Cancellations 120 days or less before the start of the seminar: 100% of the deposit
In the case of early seminar cancellations with a claim for a refund, a written cancellation by registered mail is required. If the reserved premises can be re-rented through the agency of the withdrawing party, the cancellation costs will not apply. In the event of force majeure (such as death, natural disasters such as fire/water), both parties can withdraw from this contract without incurring any costs.
8. Liability
If, for any reason, Château de Dompierre cannot comply with the agreements, both parties are entitled to withdraw from the contract. In this case, Chateau de Dompierre will refund the deposit paid. There is no further liability for any claims for damages by the client and/or the organizer.
If inventory or facilities are damaged intentionally or negligently during the event, the organizer is liable without proof of fault.
The organizer is also liable for any equipment brought along or for missing or damaged items.
Personal insurance is the responsibility of the participants.
The responsibility for the physical, mental and emotional well-being of the seminar participants during their stay at the Chateau de Dompierre lies entirely with the organizer and the participants themselves. The team at Chateau de Dompierre strives to create the best possible conditions for a successful seminar stay. If there are any objections or complaints, we ask the seminar leader to contact the relevant contact person immediately. If claims for damages or reimbursement are not made immediately or only after leaving the center, they can no longer be taken into account.
9. Precautionary measures for oil massages / liability in the event of contamination
If oils or ointments are used during massages, we ask the management to inform the course participants that they should bring their own linen for the mats (dimensions: 100cm x 200cm) and large covers to protect the meditation cushions. Oil stains are difficult to remove.
The course management is liable for the participants.

10. Decoration
Decorative materials or other items may only be installed with the permission of the landlord and must be removed immediately after the end of the event. The Chateau de Dompierre reserves the right to dispose of any material brought by the course leader that is not picked up within 24 hours of the end of the course.
11. Pets
For hygiene, allergy and risk reasons, it is not allowed to bring pets.
12. Definitions of terms
The term seminars refers to all courses, events and occasions for which the operating company SAS Animes des Château de Dompierres offers premises, infrastructure and services.
13. Price adjustments
All prices include the currently applicable statutory VAT. If the statutory VAT rate changes, we will have to pass this change on to the prices. This also applies to events that have already been booked in advance.
We also reserve the right to make price changes due to unpredictable price developments for energy and food. All participants will be informed immediately by us.
14. Data protection
By registering, participants agree to their data being stored electronically. It will not be passed on to third parties (except for the speakers at the respective event).
15. Image rights
By registering, participants agree that image and audio material recorded during seminars or during their stay at the Chateau de Dompierre will be used for advertising, documentation and public presentation of the chateau, both in paper form and online.
Type of publication: Homepage, our newsletter, print media of all kinds, social media pages, TV, websites and print media of third parties, as part of information about the Château de Dompierre.
16. Jurisdiction
For all disputes and obligations arising from this contract, the parties submit to the legislation of

Terms and Conditions For holiday guests
“Overnight stay with breakfast in direct service“
1. Contract
This contract is intended exclusively for booking stays in guest rooms approved by the local departmental or interdepartmental department on behalf of the Fédération Nationale des Gîtes de France.
Under no circumstances can the Fédération Nationale des Gîtes de France be held liable in the event of the use of its contracts by third parties or for non-tourist purposes.
The best reception will be reserved for guests. The owner undertakes to welcome you personally and with the necessary attention to facilitate your stay and knowledge of the region.
2. Duration of stay
The customer who has signed this contract, concluded for a certain period, can in no case claim a right to stay in the premises.
3. Conclusion of the contract
The reservation becomes effective once the customer has sent the owner, before the date indicated on the front page, a deposit equal to 25% of the total price of the stay with at least one night per room booked and a copy of the signed contract. The second copy of the contract must be kept by the customer. The prices include all taxes according to the description sheet, excluding tourist tax.
4. No revocation
For reservations made by mail, telephone or internet, the tenant does not benefit from the cancellation period provided for in Article L121-21-8 of the Consumer Code, which relates in particular to the provision of accommodation services on a specific date or with a specific frequency.
5. Cancellation by the customer
Any cancellation must be communicated to the owner by letter or email.
- Cancellation before the start of the stay: If the cancellation occurs more than 24 hours before the start of the stay, the deposit remains with the owner. If the cancellation occurs less than 24 hours before the start of the stay, the deposit will remain with the owner, who will also request payment of the balance of the price of the stay.
- If the customer does not show up before 7:00 p.m. on the agreed arrival day, this contract expires and the landlord can use his guest rooms. The deposit remains with the owner, who reserves the right to claim the balance of the price of the stay.
- In the event of a shortened stay, the price corresponding to the original stay remains fully borne by the owner.
Any additional services not used will be reimbursed.
6. Cancellation by the owner
If the owner cancels this stay before the start of the stay, he must inform the customer of this by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt.
The amounts paid will be refunded to the customer immediately, without prejudice to any claim for damages. He will also receive compensation at least equal to the penalty that he would have incurred if the cancellation had been due to his fault at that time.
7. Arrival
The customer must appear on the day and times specified in this contract. In the event of late or late arrival, the customer must notify the owner.
9. Tourist tax
The tourist tax is a local tax that the customer must pay to the owner, who then pays it to the state treasury.
10. Use of the premises
The customer must respect the peace and quiet of the premises and use them as intended. He undertakes to return the rooms in good condition.
11. Capacity
This contract is concluded for a certain number of people. If the number of customers exceeds this number, the owner can refuse further customers.
This rejection cannot in any case be considered a modification or termination of the contract at the initiative of the Owner, so in the event of the departure of a greater number of customers than the number rejected, no refund can be considered.
12. Animals
This contract specifies whether the customer can stay accompanied by a pet or not. If the customer fails to comply with this clause, the owner may reject the animals.
This refusal cannot in any case be considered a modification or termination of the contract at the initiative of the owner, so no refund can be considered in the event of the customer’s departure.
13. Disputes
The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival at the owner’s house.
Consumables and additional services not listed in this contract are payable to the owner at the end of the stay.
8. Payment of the balance
Any complaint related to the inventory of furnishings must be submitted to the interdepartmental or interdepartmental branch of Gîtes de France within three days of the start of the stay.
Any other complaint relating to a stay must be sent as soon as possible by letter to the departmental department of Gîtes de France, which is responsible for making a proposal for an amicable settlement.
These provisions do not prejudice any legal action taken by the customer or the owner.
